Each month I try to write a post of behind the scenes minutia from my studio and life. Here at the end of the year I have been reflecting on the work I have made here and the work I am dreaming up for the next season, so this month it is a little less behind the scenes. What is more fun than looking back at what you made over a year? I am always surprised about what I end up making over the course of a year.
The project I am the most thrilled with from 2023 is the blog. I finally started to write after wanting to for many years. My heart is full because of you. What is a writer without a reader? Thank you for reading and supporting me in that work. It is a dream come true to work through my feelings and ideas about quilts, quilting, and what it means to be a human who quilts.
I have so many ideas for this next year when it comes to the blog including more deep dives into how I made the quilts, more essays (my real passion when it comes to writing) and some recipes for dyes.
