Thank you so much for all your support and connection. Here is a round up from a month in my studio and my guilty pleasures I enjoyed throughout the month. This month is especially fun because of the start of the colder weather and the holiday season. I was too sick to do apple picking and pumpkin patching, but luckily I’m well now and ready for the rest of the season.
Happy All Hallows Eve! My mom said we never celebrated halloween when I was a kid and wasn’t sure if the reason was culture or church. She said she used to be way more religious about it — it was just how it was in the south. I remember being shocked by Halloween culture when I loved to north 25 years ago but this year I dressed up as the Other Mother and none of my friends recognized me. I went all in with the nails!
Bebe Quilt. A dear friend is having a baby this winter so I am hurrying to make this small quilt. This is half the size of any quilt I have made in the past so it will go quickly. Her papa is a fellow game designer and I hope this quilt is a space where they play together a lot. It’s the same pattern as the moth eaten quilt and the polka dot quilt.
